1. The one-paragraph version

We take care to be accurate and we correct mistakes openly, but we make no warranty that any page is complete, current or fit for your purpose. We host no media, endorse no unauthorised service, and accept no liability for what you choose to do with the information. Where the law of your country differs from the general position we describe, the law of your country governs, and only a qualified local lawyer can advise you on it.

2. We host no streams — what that means technically

This is a static website. Its pages consist of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts and photographs. There is no video element, no media source extension, no HLS or DASH manifest, no player library, no iframe pointing at a broadcast, and no server-side component capable of proxying a stream. Nothing here is technically capable of delivering a sporting event to you, and that is a deliberate architectural choice rather than an oversight.

When our articles discuss how aggregator sites work, we are describing mechanisms for the reader's understanding — the same way a security publication describes how a phishing kit operates. Description is not distribution.

3. No affiliation with anyone

StreamEast is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by or otherwise connected to: any sports league, club, federation or governing body; any broadcaster, network or rights holder; any streaming platform, aggregator, mirror site or application — including any service that uses a name similar to this publication. Similarity of name does not indicate any relationship, and we have no control over such services.

4. Not legal advice

Several of our articles discuss copyright, broadcasting law and the legal position of viewers. Those discussions are journalism. They are general, they are necessarily simplified, and they can become outdated the moment a statute or a judgment changes. They do not create a lawyer–client relationship and must not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction. The legal position for a viewer in Germany, India, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States genuinely differs; a single article cannot resolve that for your situation.

5. Not technical or financial advice

Our playback and bandwidth guides describe changes that helped in our own testing on our own equipment. Networks, devices, firmware and ISPs differ. Apply any change at your own risk, make one change at a time, and record what you changed so you can undo it. Price comparisons between broadcast packages are illustrative and change constantly; confirm current pricing with the provider before buying anything.

6. Accuracy, dates and corrections

Every article carries a publication date and a named author. Fixture times, rights deals, squad lists and legal positions change. We update pages when we learn of a change and mark the update rather than silently editing history. If you find an error, tell us through the contact form and select “Editorial correction”; corrections go to the front of the queue.

7. External links

Links to external sites are provided for reference. We do not control their content, availability, security or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. We review external links periodically, but the web changes faster than any review cycle: a domain that was reputable when we linked to it can be sold, expire or be compromised. Treat every external link with the same caution you would apply to one you found yourself.

8. Risks of third-party streaming services

We describe these risks in detail because readers keep encountering them, not to encourage use of such services:

• Malware and fake installers. “Your player is out of date” overlays remain the single most effective delivery mechanism for unwanted software on these sites.
• Notification abuse. A single “Allow” click can turn your desktop into an ad surface for months.
• Phishing. Convincing replicas of broadcaster login and payment pages are common around major events.
• Privacy exposure. Third-party trackers on such sites are typically far more aggressive than anything a licensed service uses.
• Legal exposure. Depending on your jurisdiction, accessing an infringing broadcast may itself carry consequences.
• Simple unreliability. Streams disappear at the worst possible moment, which is generally the reason people came to the site in the first place.

10. Photographs and media

Photographs are licensed stock images used for illustration. They are not documentary records of the events discussed nearby, are not supplied by any league or club, and should not be read as depicting a specific match, player or broadcast. Where an image has a specific credit requirement, that credit appears in its caption.

11. Testimonials and figures

Reader quotations shown on this Site are illustrative examples of feedback we have received, presented with first names or initials. Audience and coverage figures are our own estimates for illustration and are not audited. Do not treat them as verified metrics.

12. Commercial relationships

Where such a relationship exists it is disclosed at the top of the page it affects.
